Dr. Stella Kim is by far the best dentist I've ever had. If you're searching for someone who is super professional, precise, careful and kind, and with the cleanest and most well run office, and an incredible staff, search no more. Maybe I was unlucky before, but previous dentists of mine have done low quality work that has fallen out or needed to be replaced. I've had anxiety about going to the dentist for many years now. It wasn't until I started going to SF Dental that I realized you can have a great experience at the dentist with someone who does exceptional work and makes you feel comfortable with the whole process. And she keeps records and photos of everything so she will show you the before and after photos. I love that! I really like it when doctors tell you what they are doing and why. There's no dentist I would recommend more. If you have been meaning to find a new dentist, you just found an exceptional one!

Dr.Kim is amazing specialist. She was so friendly and kind with me. I came with awful pain, but she made her best and after two weeks I could say that everything was done right. My teeth was fixed and now I’m feeling much better.

I have been seeing Dr. Stella Kim at SF Dental for the past 10 years (since 2015), and I highly recommend her and her team! Everyone, from Dr. Kim herself to the hygienists and front desk, is so kind, professional, and on top of everything. Marilyn at the front desk is a fantastic communicator. She sends helpful appointment reminders, works around my schedule, and always takes the time to explain my insurance coverage at the start of each visit. She really makes everything seamless and stress-free. Dr. Kim is truly the best dentist I’ve ever had. She has redone all of my old fillings so beautifully that they’re practically invisible. She genuinely cares about her patients, and it shows in the quality of her work. She also helped me with Invisaligns and even created a plan to straighten my teeth leading up to my wedding in 2020. My teeth looked incredible on the big day and still do 5 years later! The hygienist Cindy is also amazing, she’s so sweet, knowledgeable, and gentle. My cleanings are always thorough and my teeth look sparkly white every time I leave. The office itself is always clean, welcoming, and efficient. Dr. Kim and her team are personable and skilled, and they clearly care about their patients. If you’re looking for a dentist in San Francisco, you’ll be in excellent hands with SF Dental!

I really trust Dr. Kim and her team with my oral health care. As a former dental professional myself I have high standards, which Dr. Kim not only meets but exceeds. Everyone in the office is super friendly, and the location is conveniently along the L subway line, so it’s easy to get to the office without needing to drive.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Kim and her team. After bouncing around a little bit in the search for a dentist I had confidence in near my home I found SF Dental. The dental office is clean and state of the art. All the staff are welcoming. My hygienist, Lisa, was thorough, skilled and kind. It's clear they have a strong team that enjoy working with one another. I am grateful for have found them.

Dr. Stella Kim and her team at SF Dental so wonderful! They are very attentive to the needs of their patients, go over the treatment plan and also make sure you are comfortable during the whole procedure. And highly recommend to people who tend to get nervous going to dentists.

Dr. Kim and her staff are stellar. I’ve been a patient here for over 3 years. I used to despise going to the dentist but now I thoroughly enjoy my visits to SF Dental. First, they’re super transparent on pricing and procedures you need. The front desk is always super nice and shows you what to expect during your visit. They also have great systems in place to remind you when your next appointment is coming up in case plans change. Second, Dr. Kim clearly hires top hygienists. The one I’ve had for over a year is super thorough and diligent. They’re also easy to talk to in case you have questions. Lastly, Dr. Kim is the best. She’s incredibly patient friendly and walks you through any procedure you need in such a kind manner. She clearly loves her job. She gets a lot of joy when her patients achieve better dental outcomes. She’s been the reason my dental health has been the best ever. I 100% recommend SF Dental. I even take my toddler here for checkups.

Dr. Kim and all of the staff at SF Dental are the best! There is usually little wait time, the facilities are extremely clean, and everyone has their personal touch that makes you feel very welcome. I’ve been going to SF Dental for 8 years and have received wonderful, thoughtful care. I appreciate that Dr. Kim takes a preventative approach that allows you to be in control of what next steps are best for you at the time.

I had some bad experiences with dental clinics in SF before finding Dr. Stella Kim. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and really pays attention to my dental history and concerns. She’s warm, thorough, and actually takes the time to listen, which makes a huge difference. Her recommendations always feel thoughtful and genuinely in my best interest. The staff is also welcoming and well-organized, and they make every visit easy and stress-free!

I have been a patient at SF Dental since 2022, and my experience has been consistently positive with every member of the staff. From the moment you walk in, Marilyn at the front desk is incredibly friendly and welcoming. She explains everything clearly, is always helpful with any questions I have, and has been patient and flexible with my limited availability and occasional rescheduling. Cindy has been my dental hygienist for nearly all of my visits, and she is wonderful. She is gentle, reassuring, and very thorough in explaining the condition of my teeth and gums. She always checks in with me throughout the appointment and gives advance notice if something may affect my sensitive teeth. She answers questions thoughtfully and clearly explains what she observes during each exam, which helps me feel informed and at ease. I consistently have a great experience with her. Dr. Kim has also been an excellent dentist. She explains procedures and treatment plans clearly and stays on top of my dental health. She keeps meticulous records, so at each six-month visit she knows exactly what to follow up on. She is patient, attentive, and genuinely listens to any concerns, and it’s clear that her patients truly appreciate her care. She also does a great job educating patients on how to maintain their dental health at home. Overall, the office is run very efficiently, the staff is kind, patient, and helpful, and they consistently make patients feel comfortable and well cared for during every visit.
